2024 Valentine’s Day

On Wednesday, 14 February 2024, our school joined together to celebrate love and community in this year’s Valentine’s Day assembly. Our Year 12 Fundraising team spent all day handwriting and attaching notes to 100+ roses and distributing over 180 delicious, homemade cookies, cupcakes and brownies made by Ella, Kiera S and Cara.

We began with an outstanding performance by our very own Sithuthuzele, who performed Can’t Take My Eyes off You by Frankie Valli, while being chased by Isabella M, referencing the iconic 2000’s film “10 Things I Hate About You”. 

 ”Are your eyes ‘Clicks’? Because I could get lost in there for hours!”. (Lita)

Later on, we saw an incredible performance from an ISCT music teacher, Andrew Wright, on the piano, and Daniel with a reading of hilarious embarrassing romantic moments, anonymously sent in by students. 

To finish off the day, the Year 12’s got up on stage to sing ‘Mamma Mia’ by ABBA, with the rest of the school dancing and singing along from their seats.

Thank you to Issy, Becca, Willow, Damien, Lita and Ismail for all your work in fundraising, as well as Ella who helped a lot in the background! It was a chaotic day that you made special and memorable for everyone!
