Matric Dance 2023

After a long year of fundraising and planning, our Matric Dance came together on the 18th of November, a wonderful evening thanks to the efforts of our Fundraising Portfolio and Matric Dance Committee. The Terrace Rooftop was warmly lit and prepared with snacks for our arrival, an array of flowers adorning the candle lit tables and a spectacular view from the balconies of Table Mountain.

A welcome speech from our Matric Dance Committee was followed by last words of wisdom from Mrs Reed and a set of lovely messages from our form tutors, Mr Hillebrand and Dr Doyle, on the progress we’ve made as a grade and the paths we have ahead of us as individuals. Each of us also received a personalised message and a collection of pictures.

Dancing, chatter and laughter made up the rest of the evening, alongside a wonderful dinner. After finals ending on the 16th, it was an incredible way to celebrate the amazing years we had together as a grade, the concluding paragraph in this chapter of our lives.
