Year 8 Camp

From 15-17 April, the Y8s went on camp to the Wortelgat campsite near Stanford, which was facilitated by the Lead4Life program. The students were put into teams and they participated in multiple team building activities, which encouraged them to interact with others whom they were not familiar with. Overall the focus was on leadership and its traits.  

We had lots of fun making new friends, and creating long-lasting memories with old ones. Some of the highlights were a Soccer World Cup mascot fashion show, swimming in the lagoon, a talent show where the teams performed a skit, song and dance, and various other challenges.

We returned back to school exhausted but happy to be back, and we look forward to the next adventures that await us!
