Draco gains traction once again!

On the 17th of April from 11:00 – 14:00, our Inter House Basketball Tournament took place at UCT (University of Cape Town), Sports Centre.

The basketball players gave it their all, and the crowd was cheering wildly with much energy and enthusiasm! The games were intense and the scores were close with the winners slowly climbing their way to the top. 

By Halftime, Orion had 19 points, Titan had 28 points and Draco had 32 points. Titan and Draco were neck and neck with Orion still needing a lot of points to catch up! With Titan and Draco fighting for first place, the winners were undecided until the very last match. 

In 3rd place came Orion with 45 points, in 2nd place came Titan with 60 points and in first place Draco stole the cup by a 6 point lead, and a well earned victory! They had won the Inter House Basketball Tournament and were cheering very loudly, but at the end of the day, Orion clearly had the most energy because they won the Spirit Cup! With cheering, panting and an exhausted school, 2024’s Inter House Basketball Tournament came to a close.
