Founder’s Day 2023
Families, staff, and students gathered at ISCT this past Saturday (28th October) for the schools 25th Annual Founder’s Day. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and lasting memories, thanks to the hard work and planning of all the teachers, staff and students.
The day begun with the traditional flag procession, which displayed the cultures and traditions of the 44 nations in ISCT’s global community. Students, dressed in their national colours, and heritage costumes that showcased our school’s diversity. It was great to see everyone celebrated.
Entertainment included live performances by our talented performing arts students. There were many highlights of the concert, such as the Struben House KS1 Choir, the KS2 piano pieces and some exciting high school performances including a dance routine, which we all enjoyed. The DC cheerleaders also put together an entertaining showcase to celebrate ISCT’s anniversary. Also, the Ukulele Band showed off how much they’ve learnt in just two weeks!
Year 8’s Market Day, under the guidance of Miss Wooly, featured creative student works, crafts, and homemade treats. All the year eights have been working very hard on their stalls for the past couple of months, so it was great to see all the time and effort pay off.
It was indeed a memorable celebration for our school, and we look forward to next year.
