Senior Prizegiving 2021
On the 15th of September, ISCT held its Senior Prizegiving. The event was filled with pride as our amazing and hard-working students received their well-deserved awards. While every award is valued equally, we would like to highlight certain awards given out, as an immense amount of effort has to be made to receive these prizes.
Sophia received the service award for her numerous acts of service throughout her time as Leader of the Community Service portfolio, including the pad drive, Santa’s shoe box, beach clean-ups, and more! The person receiving this prize is a Senior student that finds passion in involving themselves in community service inside and outside of ISCT, for a sustained period of time.
Masego, Sophia, and Rachel received the Trophy for Creativity and Innovation, having to do primarily with their Leadership in the phenomenal movie: When The Party’s Over. This prize is given to students who have displayed creativity and innovation in any student-led activity within the school, with minimal adult assistance. They achieved this through their hard work on this must-watch movie!
The Sound and Lighting Team received the Best Contribution to school life award. This is given to students who without fail, exert their efforts at all assemblies and events for the school. I think we can all agree the sound and lighting team really earned this one!
The International Student Award was given to Seojin and Gabriella. This award is given to students who proudly represent their nationality at all times, and are also respectful and willing to listen and learn about other cultures. They must also be well versed in at least two languages and establish good relationships between keystages.
Finally, the IGCSE Dux trophy was received by Talia, as she was the Top student in IGCSE across 8 subjects. Her hard work really paid off, and she sets a great example for the ISCT community.
Congrats to every single student who received an award, the school is so proud! Keep up that good work everyone 🙂
