KS3 Swimming Gala 2024

Titan strikes again, this time in water! 

On the 7th of March, we had our Year 7-9 Swimming Gala which took place at Wynberg Boys’ High School from 13:00 – 14:00. The hot day started with much adrenaline and anticipation from all houses. Four records were broken this year! Two in the Junior Boys Breaststroke and Backstroke and the other two in the Junior Girls Breaststroke and Relay.

In the first half, the scores were close and in the second half, the pressure was intense, but the winners were undecided until the very end. Titan and Draco were fighting for first place with poor Orion a long way behind!

The final score left the Titans victorious with 85 points! Draco was only 5 points behind with 80 points and atrocious Orion was left in the dust with a score of 46 points. 

This led to the end of another eventful (and windy) Swimming Gala with the mighty Titans still in the lead!
