Year 10 Camp

For many year 10s, the camp was the highlight of their term. We spent 3 fun filled with one other participating in team building activities that strengthened our bond further as a grade.
On the first day we arrived at Bonamanzi Adventures we were received by such exuberant facilitators, JH, Siya and Ari who made us feel welcome from the second we stepped foot on camp grounds. Lunch was served promptly. Thereafter we were granted free time in which we could socialise with our friends. We played a few games before we started with the first activity: Tidal Wave soon followed by Gutter Ball. The evening was just as fun, as we embarked on a journey, one in which we learnt about the wilderness.
The first game of the second day was Duster Hockey which put our team work and communication skills to the test. Kayaking, however, was the main event of the day. The teams had fun racing each other back to the camp site, where we played a few games of volleyball in our assigned teams. The night was closed with us learning new camp songs around the bonfire while roasting marshmallows.
The last day is always the saddest, filled with sorrowful goodbyes and one last game, Boopsie. When the bus eventually arrived we waved sadly to Bonamanzi Adventures, hoping to see it once again.
