The Community service Portfolio have been collecting shoe-boxes filled with various goodies for the Santa Shoe Box Project over the past 4 weeks. Students had volunteered to make these care packages tailored to a specific child whose name, age, and gender, was given to them over the 4 weeks. The Community service Portfolio, led by Sophia, had collected all the finished boxes and spent a few afternoons after school to do the arduous process of looking through all the boxes to make sure they fit the requirements sent in the email to students and parents.

We pledged 200 boxes as a school from both campuses. And on Wednesday 4th November, Sophia, Masego, and I (Mika’eel), spent the morning packing the bus and doing last minute inventory checks. We were then driven to observatory  By Mr. Moore to deliver the boxes and submit our pledge.
