Integrated Lunch 2025

On Monday, the 13th of October, the Y7s participated in Integrated Lunch. Integrated lunch is an event where the Y7 students are split up into groups and each assigned a country.
They then have to cook a drink, starter, main, and dessert from that country for their guests, as well as make a table centrepiece and table talker, for which they have to research their country’s history, geography and more. Along with that, they perform a myth or folktale from the country.
The countries assigned to the groups are as follows: Fiji, Namibia, Venezuela, Oman, Estonia, Georgia, Bolivia, Cuba, Sweden and Malaysia. Despite being postponed due to poor weather, the event kicked off without a hitch this week. In between the meals being served, the groups performed their pieces.
It was incredibly rewarding for both the teachers and students to see their hard work culminate in this event, one that took weeks of preparation.
I would also like to say that I am personally incredibly proud of my fellow students and teachers. You all did great!
