Term 2 Music Concert

On Thursday evening, the ever-enthusiastic Cultural Portfolio rallied a talented battalion of musicians from across KS3 to perform in ISCT’s termly concert; this term’s was aptly called a Winter Warmer. The programme consisted largely of guitarists, with a few others scattered among them, many of whom had participated in ISCT’s first ever internal eisteddfod, which took place last week. For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic the concert was not live-streamed to the community, instead we opened our doors to a fantastically supportive live audience. The concert ended with a mystery guest performance by one of our extra-curricular music teachers, Mr Gavin Wild, who transfixed the audience with his wonderfully virtuostic performance.

Overall, everyone performed confidently, and the concert was hugely enjoyable for all involved. Well done and thank you to everyone who had the courage to perform, and to our audience who came to watch the performance.
