Termly Concert 2025

The termly concert took place on the 6th of November and was MC’d by the new portfolio leaders Aidan and Tirzah of the cultural portfolio. It was a time for high school students to showcase their incredible musicality and all the incredible pieces that they have been tirelessly working at playing to perfection that night.

Every performance was incredibly moving and beautiful in its own right with performances ranging from breathtaking singing to harmonious violin. Sarah opened the night with her stunning rendition of Vivace on the piano.  Followed shortly after was another piano piece and right after that Sarah was on back, this time with her violin. Rory (piano) and Sifiso (clarinet) played a mystical piece in their gripping duet. Mahi sang ‘Here with me’ wonderfully and melodically. Isabella’s performance of ‘Fly me to the moon’ nearly took the audience to another planet entirely; she sang so gracefully and smoothly. Sithuthuzele sang an incredibly touching and moving piece. Jente played so wonderfully on the violin. Themba played passionately on the clarinet and Kristen sang so beautifully, with incredible breath work and control. Lastly performances from the high school choir saw the perfect end to the perfect musical evening.

Everyone did such an incredible job but a huge mention to Mr Wright, Mr E and all the other music teachers for preparing students to be ready to play for an audience.
