Winter sports day
On 17 September, the high school held their annual Inter-house Winter Sports Day at the military base. Including events such as cross country, netball, futsal and ultimate frisbee, the Sports Day took over last week Tuesday as students competed for their houses.
We started off the day with the senior girls and boys 3km cross country run, followed by the juniors with their 2km run. Congratulations to Abby and Jonah who came first in their respective senior categories.
After a short break, the matches began on the various outdoor fields while in the stands the house captains encouraged team spirit, leading various chants.
In the end, it was Draco who won both the Spirit Cup and the Sports Day Trophy. Congratulations to all who participated as well as to the staff and coaches who organised the event. We look forward to seeing who will win next year!
