2023 Sports Day

On the 13th of Feb, ISCT had its high school sports day, with students crushing more records than we have in years!

Starting with the usual mile run (4 laps around the top field at Wyberg boys high school), Garrett sent the previous Junior Boys’ record of 6 minutes and 12 seconds to the grave with his 5 minutes and 52 seconds, Alice reduced 7 minutes to 6 minutes and 44 seconds, and Jente crushed the 6 minutes and 21 seconds record with her 6 minute and 19 seconds run for Junior Girls. Very well done!

Soon after the mile, Josie turned 26 meters into 26.2 meters in Senior Girls’ Vortex. Mia followed shortly afterwards in the Junior Girls’ vortex, bringing 17 meters up to 23.07 meters!

Next, we had Alice smashing more records, this time for Senior Girls’ 400-meters, taking it from 1 minute and 30 seconds to 1 minute and 12 seconds. Mishealle also set a new record for Junior Girls’ 200 meters. Congratulations to our athletes!

Finally, after a hot day of running, jumping, and throwing – the scores were announced.

Titan took home the spirit cup.

And, with Draco in third and Titan in second, Orion won with 266 points!

A very well done to all of our students, and thank you to the teachers who made it possible!
