What’s Showcase even for?
This year’s showcase is similar to every showcase ISCT has had before in that one of the main purposes is to unite people; the main concept of this event is even ‘One World, One School’. There will also be food sold, student’s work put up as well as activities such as a petting zoo and lumo disco, rides and games. But what really separates this showcase from any other, apart from the massive scale this year, is where the money made by the school at this event is going.
All the money raised from school-run activities will go towards funding astroturf on the bottom field of the Woodland Height’s campus. Here is what the field looks like now, and what the plan for its remodelling looks like.

Remodelling Plans
The plans for remodelling involve astroturfing the bottom field, adding both football and netball courts. This will cut down dramatically on travel costs and time, as well as increase safety and the quality of Physical Education lessons. However, this massive revamping will require a lot of money – around R2,000,000. This is why ISCT desperately needs your support; in simply buying a ticket for showcase, you are contributing over R100 to this project, and in supporting services and products ISCT will sell at market day, you are helping our cause even more.
