Netball: ISCT vs Star College
For the ISCT netball girls, this term did not include many matches, a stark contrast from the excitement experienced from the U15 team making their first playoffs at the end of Term 2.
This term, the team played an incredible match against Star College, managing to win the match once again against the school they played the term before. This match however was quite different from the previous one due to weather issues.
While the match started out relatively normal, with ISCT gaining point after point in the first half, the second half was barely a few minutes in before the rain started, cancelling the match when the court started to flood. Despite this, the ISCT team did not let the rain deter them, and they enjoyed some fun time playing in the heavy showers. Mini matches were carried out and even some Star College players joined for no other reason but fun. It was definitely a highlight of this year’s netball season.
While there may not have been many matches, the girls definitely put in lots of practice this season. Learning drill after drill, and practising regardless of the weather, the effort the netball team put in truly showed through their many wins this season in most of their matches. Well done ISCT netball girls.
