Mitotic Cell Cycle Animation
In preparation for exams, the year 11 biology class created animations of the ‘Mitotic Cell Cycle’ using various miscellaneous materials.
The Mitotic Cell Cycle is the sequence of events that takes place from one cell division until the next. The process involves multiple phases, including interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. In working to visualise what we covered in class, we took individual pictures of each development and sequenced them in our animations.
It was rewarding to see the final product of four days of work play out, and in the end, we voted on the best one.
Congratulations to the winning group: Connor, Gabi and Sienna.
