Interhouse Art Competition
The global pandemic has had an effect on many aspects of school life this year, suspending extra
curricular sports, camps and many inter house events. As a way to keep ISCT school spirit high
during these confusing times, the Year 12 house captains have teamed together with the newly
appointed portfolio leaders in Year 11 to bring ISCT its first ever inter house art competition. This
Covid-19 safe competition will be able to replace the suspended ISCT sportsdays and other events
that we are missing out on this year.
Both Junior and Senior students with an interest in art or photography have put forward their best
pieces, earning one house point per entry, in an attempt to bring victory to their house. Students
were allowed to enter their piece/s into one of the four categories: ‘Wake up’, ‘Your Safe Place’,
‘Purple’ and a photography section. The house captains and a few selected teachers judged the
entries and decided on a winner for each category. Well done to Draco for winning the most points
overall!
The winners for each category are as follows:
Wake up – Josh (Yr 11) Your Safe Place – Julia (Yr 10)
Purple – Rachel (Yr 12) Photography – Gaby (Yr 11)
